Smelly Feet Problem
The One Place Where Smelly Feet is Not a Laughing Matter

Perspiration Causes Smelly Feet

There has also been reports written about starving people who have little or no body odor (including smelly feet). The literature believes that due to the lack of energy that has to be spent on the digestive processes, more energy can be directed towards the cleaning of body toxins. Without toxins (minerals and various salts), bacteria does not have food in which it can survive so will not grow and create bad smells.

There has also been literature to link the heavy consumption of foods high in protein to the onset of body odor and also foot odor. This is because processing protein creates a lot of toxins which have to be excreted from the body. The skin is an organ used to excrete toxins through sweat and as a result, these toxins create a great environment for both bacteria and fungi to thrive. Try reducing the consumption of protein to see if it will work for you.

We understand now that perspiration creates moisture and that together with minerals and salts released when sweating will create the ideal environment for bacteria and fungi to grow and multiply. To reduce smelly feet you can either change the constitution of sweat or reduce sweat or indeed by simply cleaning your feet from sweat that has already dried up but deposited the minerals and salts on the skin of the feet. Remember that washing your feet regularly to reduce the amount of salts and minerals available at your feet can also significantly reduce the likelihood of bacteria and fungi growth.

Remember, its all about the sweat. Reduce the sweat, reduce the amount of salts in the sweat and also remove the by-product of the sweat and you should be on the way to having heavenly smelling feet.
